We use a Professional DPF Cleaning Machine for our off-car process. This industry-grade system uses controlled flow, temperature, and filtration to safely remove soot and ash while protecting the substrate.
Often, yes—provided the DPF is structurally sound and underlying causes (e.g., faulty sensors, EGR/boost issues) are addressed. That’s why we recommend starting with diagnostics.
On-car cleaning targets soot and can work well for early blockages. Off-car deep cleaning uses our MET Clean machine to remove both soot and ash and provides a significant flow improvement.
Diagnostics typically 30–60 minutes. On-car cleaning 1–2 hours. Off-car deep clean usually same-day (depending on removal/refit and condition). BYO DPF cleans can be turned around quickly—ask for current lead time.
